Vin de liqueur

Also called grape mistelle, liqueur wine is obtained by mutating before alcoholic fermentation (alcoholic fermentation of the must is prevented).
This process allows for the conservation of grape sugars and a lower alcohol level in the final product.
They are particularly appreciated chilled as an aperitif or cocktail and go perfectly with foie gras and desserts.
