This wine has a charming ruby colour, it is very elegant, with velvet and silk on the mouth.
Grape varieties: 93 % Syrah, 7 % Viognier.
Age of the vines: 25 years
Yield: 40 hl/ha
Terroir: Vineyards planted on Côte Rôtie terraces. Gneiss soils.
Winemaking: 80 % destemming. 3 week maceration in thermoregulated vat. Ageing in demi-muid (only 10 % new oak).
Tasting: This wine has a charming ruby colour, it is very elegant, with velvet and silk on the mouth.
Food pairings: A “rumsteak” or an “entrecote” will be the perfect match.
Serving temperature: between 16° and 18° C.
Ageing potential: 5 - 10 years.
